Security incident management connected to Genetec
The challenge
Prosegur manages security at Naturgy’s sites, and all tracking of incidents, quotes, work orders and spare parts was done in Excel spreadsheets. They needed a single tool, connected to their Genetec system, where maintenance contractors and administrators work from the same data.
What I did
- Application design. I designed the whole flow in Figma, from login to closing each incident, with two areas: one for maintenance contractors and one for administrators.
- Incident dashboard. Counters by status (new, active, pending and resolved) above the full history, so each contractor’s workload is visible at a glance.
- Work order record. Quote, maintenance report and certification as PDFs, with quote approval or rejection, notes and a log of the latest actions.
- Stock control. An inventory of components with their status, flagging those awaiting repair.
- Development. I built the app in HTML, responsive CSS and JavaScript, and worked in C# on the Genetec connection.
Outcome
- From Excel to an internal application where incidents, documents and stock live in one place.
- Each work order keeps its quote, work report, certification and action history: nothing gets lost between emails and file versions.
- Integrated with Genetec, the security system Prosegur already used.
